Money and holidays in Lima

I went to the bank yesterday to order my money (nuevo sole) found out you have to order this ahead of time-- just wanted a little money to have when I get to Lima but ATM's are very popular.  It is holiday time in Lima on Saturday called Navy Day-- hope to see a good parade.
